Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that can make certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be found in weapons, armor trinkets, and gathering tools to boost their level of use. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, based on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is utilized. The equipment that is upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above a certain level. Some upgrade items have special effects that are visible when they are applied. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used to upgrade certain ascended back items. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item while upgrades that have a suffix or prefix will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures and fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters, as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by additional bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and each weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will offer its stated benefit and increase the number of nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, could offer double bonuses if certain conditions are met and therefore are worth checking out for.
Click the cycle widget to change the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further using an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a process in which you create a new account to give yourself more opportunities to pull the character or weapon you are interested in. It can be done for you to increase your level faster or to gain more loot, such as a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters that they like, regardless of their power. This can be because they like the character's design or personality.
You must ensure that you make a clean change when you restart. This means you should check locally that the patch is able to pass the pre-commit checks, and you should also run a core development check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue by using plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck of the draw. To cut down on time avoid enemy camps that are not required during this period. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This will save you time and energy.
