Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that makes certain Pokemon evolve. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components

Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma traders or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or acquired as rewards in game.
There are various upgrade components, each with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions can be used in any type of equipment, and offer smaller bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enhancements are used for some items that are ascended back. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, however doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their name in the hover display of the item while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments as well as registered trademark symbols such as ellipses, swashes, and swashes. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and examine these special characters, along with common symbols like em and en dashes, as well in registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph is upgraded to its desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide its stated benefit and increase the number of nodes that are within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Some glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied and therefore are worth checking out for too.
Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option below "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to pull an item or character you are interested in.
