Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They are also available to players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This is an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be added, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
