Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that can make certain Pokemon evolve. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, dependent on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to provide attribute bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are applied to an item. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, purchased from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or as rewards in game.
Various upgrade components are available, each offering an individual bonus. item upgrades , such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any kind of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that have been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs that can only be placed in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.
Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item, and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters, as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dieshes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. It also comes with up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs that are available to you. You only need to apply the correct Glyph to the item you are looking for. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved by completing Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15, it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will offer its stated bonus and will also boost the other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are met.

If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each view shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you create a new account to give yourself more opportunities to play an item or character you are interested in. It can be done in order to level up faster, or to gain more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will play until the character they want is available, regardless of strength. This could be because they like the design or character.
You should ensure that you make a clean change when you reroll. This means you should check locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests and conduct a core development check. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue by using a plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls may take days or weeks, depending on how lucky you are. During this period, you should avoid optional enemy camps to avoid wasting time. In addition, you should avoid re-doing any quests that are completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.
When you reroll, it is essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are several ways to boost your character's power and appearance. This includes upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and buying upgrades. It is also crucial to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling may not be an absolute requirement, but it is an effective way to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. You can use it to determine which character is the best or to test different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of the class). Sets can be used to perform operations such as intersection, union and distinction.
When you upgrade an item, it transforms into an entirely new version that is better than the previous version. For armor and weapons, this means it gains an increase in the base defense and an lower strength requirement, and an lower level requirement.
Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets up to parity with those in higher-level sets. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 up to 321 and decrease the strength and level requirements to a more achievable range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own way and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to improve their stats even more. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
