This is a great strategy for high-level players to increase their character's DPS. However, you should be careful not to overdo this and risk losing your MORA.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens let players reroll an item that is currently possessed by a specific unit. When rerolling, an item will be exchanged with an equivalent level 1 version of the same item, but with additional bonuses and a new type of equipment (such as knives, cups, watches, or books). In certain instances it is possible to substantially increase its level of ilvl. However the item won't maintain its ilvl and rerolling is only useful if the item has rare affixes.
Rerolling an item resets the base power, as well as all upgrades, and rerolls the substats, in addition to the substats. This can be useful if the power of an upgraded item is less than the desired level or if the user would like to have different substats on an existing ring. The token for rerolling is available from a variety of sources such as the skulled creatures, the mystery box or as a reward for killing an opponent.
Weapons, armor, rings and other accessories can all be transformed. Weapons can be rerolled for physical power, spellpower or health. Armor can be rerolled to improve defense or damage reduction, while rings can be rerolled for durability or damage. Rerolling a crafted equipment item can result in a rare item of the same type. A rerolled item does not retain its owner's ilvl, and any resources thrown away will not be repaid.
The process of rerolling can be accomplished by pressing the green button with an arrow that is circling on the menu for items. The button will not show on any item that is currently equipped by an enemy unit. To roll an item, the player must have at least one token to re-roll in their inventory. The player must select the stat they want to reroll, and then confirm their decision. In certain situations, the reroll may take longer than expected. This is a result of the rerolling system having a large number of possible combinations. In these situations the player could use another re-roll token to speed up the process.
Item level
Item level is an important stat that shows how strong an item is. It's used by players to assess items, and it helps players decide which is the most powerful for their particular style of play. It also lets players to upgrade gear which was previously considered by the community to be overpowered. It is important to realize that item level isn't a future development option, but rather an opportunity to differentiate items in the current game.
The levels of items are by calculating the average ilvl of all the equipment that the player has equipped including their main hand and offhand weapons. It includes the ilvls for every gear slot that is upgradeable, but excludes shirts and tabards. This includes cloaks and rings and neck, chest, shoulders back, wrists, hands, legs, waist, and feet as well as weapons on the off-hand. The ilvl is taken into consideration twice, as the main and off-hands have different iLevels.
The iLevel decides which stats are given priority. Based on the spec and class certain stats have a higher value than others. Crit rating, for instance is expensive, whereas haste ratings can be inexpensive. The level of the item also determines the amount of the item's budget that is allocated to primary stats and secondary stats.

Achieving a high item level is important to ensure that you have the most effective gear for your character. This will help you move quicker through the game and gain access to more areas. Additionally the higher your level of item is, the more damage you can do in PvP.
To upgrade an item, you'll require the appropriate materials. For weapons, this is Destruction Stones and for armor, this would be Guardian Stones and Harmony Leapstones. These items can be obtained by clearing content up to your character's item level. You can also purchase items from the Auction House. However, beware of the auction prices, since they can be quite expensive. If you are looking to save money, buy items from a vendor who is selling them at a reduced price.
